Sam Washington
Sam Washington is an English director and writer of films and commercials. His work has been awarded by international organisations and juries, including Cannes Lions, The Webby Awards, London International Awards and the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films.
A ‘performance director’ in the purest sense, Sam’s basis for any piece of work is plausible characters and genuine performances. As Sam will tell you, “If we don’t believe the people on screen, then non of this counts for much.”
His passion for the process and collaborative attitude have led to successful advertising campaigns with some of the world’s biggest brands, his recent credits include the likes of Apple, Adidas, Barclays, Citroën, Chevrolet, HBO, Marvel, McDonalds, Mtn Dew, Shrek 3 in Italy, Netflix and Nintendo.
