Brittany Ferries offers a first-class service between the UK and a number of French and Spanish ports.
Mob Film worked closely with the creative agency to create this TV campaign to demonstrate the new creative concept – encouraging viewers to ‘Discover’ more, both about themselves and the fabulous destinations that are on offer.
Directed by Jason Fisher-Jones (who also self-operated a 2k DSLR to help maximise footage on key scenes), the film was shot on location in Brittany over 2 days, and the dreamy vignettes and languid style reflects the laid-back lifestyle that you can soak up on holiday. Fortunately the weather played ball and we were able to get some fantastic imagery and performances from the french cast. And the locations all look like they’re taken straight from picture postcards.
The music was perfectly matched to the relaxed visuals and was provided by up-and-coming Ben Cocks.
Jason has recently directed a wide variety of spots including work for Miele, Volkswagen, Morrisons, Bounty, iRobot, Frontier Airlines and Yorkshire Water. Jason has work in the D&AD Annual, and won the Royal Television Society Award for Graphic Design. He has judged D&AD, Promax and BDA awards both in the US and UK.
