Karin Lindsay

Born in South Africa, Karin Lindsay studied editing, scriptwriting and directing at AFDA, the top film school in the country. After winning best Newcomer Editor in a competition judged by Spike Lee, she was offered a job as Junior Editor at Visual Assault, South Africa’s leading Post Production house at the time.

Lindsay went on to work on many awards winning Commercials, Music Videos, Documentaries, Drama Series and Short Films.

Since then, Lindsay moved to Manchester in 2011 and has collaborated with the top UK and USA Directors. Over the past several years, with her love of cinematography and her experience in editing and directing, she has progressed into becoming a videographer.

Lindsay has worked with top clients like Mammoth Films, ITV and BBC to do the Behind The Scenes on some popular Drama Series like ‘The City and The City’ as well as ‘The War of the Worlds.’

Lindsay’s portfolio with Mob Film includes Nemophilist, The City and The City, The War of The Worlds, and Chicane.
